About Loveline
Everyone has a story you have not heard yet. Loveline makes an evening for hearing a little of it.
We are made of the stories we carry. Where we grew up, who we miss, what happened on the way home. Sometimes a small thing someone says makes you want to know what happened next. We wanted to give those conversations a little room.
Loveline is an online dating event. Each date begins with a voice, a first name and an age. Join from a favourite corner, with headphones and a little curiosity.
Run by a small team in Melbourne
Loveline is built and run by three co-founders and friends who all met their significant others and fell in love through conversation. When you write to us, one of the three of us reads it.
Your choices come first.
- Adults 18 and over
- Everyone confirms they are 18 or over when signing up. Age and profile details are self-declared.
- Date privacy
- We never record your dates, and recording someone else breaks the rules.
- Report and block on every date
- Both are one tap away. A report reaches staff. A first qualifying report warns the reported person; a second independent qualifying report can place them in an admin lobby while staff review.
- Delete any time
- Delete your account any time. We remove your public profile, photos, saved answers and ordinary account details, while retaining limited records needed for safety and stated restrictions.
